A fallen star of the Lyon police force following a serious mistake, Anne Capestan is entrusted with the head of the mysterious “4th brigade”: a unit to which all alcoholics, depressives and other maladjusted people who clutter up the police force and who cannot be gotten rid of are transferred. It is however with her team of broken arms that the commander is going to find herself in position to solve the most important investigation of the moment, a case mixing several robberies, an ace of disguise and the unexplained murder of a Maltese.
